Most new customers are fully onboarded to Justworks in 45–60 days with dedicated onboarding guidance every step of the way. The transition covers four parallel workstreams. 

• Insurance Quoting: We quote you on medical, dental, vision plans, workers’ comp, and supplemental benefits.

• Data Migration: With the information you provide, we add your payroll history, benefits data, and tax setup into our platform. 

• Compliance Coordination:  We ensure your tax accounts are established and state PEO registration (if needed) has been handled.

• Benefits Enrollment: After employees have enrolled in a new or carried over an existing plan, we sync enrollment details to the carrier.

You configure your company-level settings, like locations, pay schedules, and contribution amounts, in our platform. 

The employee onboarding is self-guided on our platform and can take as little as 30 minutes. From start to finish, our platform handles the following: 

• I-9 verification 

• Benefits election and enrollment

• Payroll information and tax withholding setup

• Direct deposit enrollment
