Once you’ve completed enrollment, we’ll get you up and running immediately.
First, set the date you’ll launch Justworks PEO: Either the 1st or 16th of the current or upcoming month, when your payroll first runs. Then, work with your dedicated onboarding manager to activate your account, close your existing account, set up benefits, and set up employees in the platform.
With our monthly billing plan, you’re billed for every active employee on Justworks PEO on the second payroll of the month.
PTE Pricing: Standard Administrative Fees for part-time employees (defined as 29 or fewer expected hours per week), whether on Basic or Plus, are $59 per part-time employee for companies with 49 or fewer total employees, and $49 per part-time employee for companies with 50 or more total employees. Part-time employees are not eligible for benefits on Basic or Plus.
Our plans are flexible. They’ll change with you! Regardless if you’re on our Basic or Plus plan, you’ll be billed for the actual number of W-2 employees you pay through the platform each month. If our PEO Basic Plan no longer fits your company’s needs, Justworks Payroll might be a better fit. Payroll is a great fit for small teams with at least one W-2 employee or contractor-only businesses.

Two things factor into a mid-year switch: Tax obligations and benefits. And we’re here to help.
A mid-year switch to Justworks PEO would not reset your federal payroll tax obligations. Your state payroll tax obligations will depend on the state. If you’re enrolled in benefits, note that deductibles and FSA accounts may be affected. Reach out anytime for help with the switch.
Employees can easily clock in and out in seconds and once a shift is approved, it will automatically sync to payroll.
