High Priestess of Brooklyn

Welcome to a new zodiac year! I’m back with another entrepreneurial forecast — this time, for Aries season. If you’re new here, check out last month’s post to learn more about some astrological basics and here if you want to learn more about my intuitive business, The High Priestess of Brooklyn. If you loved last month’s forecast and are ready for more, let’s dive in!

Aries Season Basics

Aries season marks the beginning of the astrological calendar and the beginning of spring. For some quick background, Aries is a cardinal sign that’s ruled by Mars, and is equated with the Ram constellation — which is why it feels appropriate to say it comes “in like a Ram.” This season is adventurous and enterprising, and this one in particular will be one for the books (and not just because your taxes are due).

To personify this energy even further, some of your favorite multi-talented moguls embody the Aries archetype. We don’t have to look hard for them, as they typically act as pioneers in their industries of choice.

Take entertainer-turned-beauty and fashion maven Rihanna (Aries Venus) — she translated her bold style into a billion-dollar empire. And Steve Jobs — did he have an Aries placement? He sure did. Steve had his moon (which is tied to the emotional self) and Mars (the planet of action and the ruler of Aries) in the fire sign. His intrinsic understanding of brave leadership progressed us forward at all costs. This echoes the detrimental qualities of Aries — domineering, headstrong, and yes, even arrogant. So watch the extremism that can creep up as you forge new paths. That said, fortune favors the bold (or so we’re told). So onward we go!

Astrological Outlook for March 20 - April 19

Aries season started with a bang:

  • Sunday, March 19: Mercury moved into Aries. As a quick reminder, Mercury is tied to thoughts and communication.

  • Monday, March 20: the Sun moved into Aries (this is also referred to as the Spring Equinox). Again, the Sun is a luminary in astrology, and it illustrates how we shine and what we’ll be interested in for a period of time.

  • Tuesday, March 21: the New Moon was in Aries at 0 degrees. Remember that the moon rules over emotional impulses, and that new moons (when the Sun and moon are together in the sky) are excellent times to plant seeds of new intentions.

With this fast and loose cluster in Aries, these days will initiate provocative ideas, which can spread like wildfire.

On Thursday, March 23, Pluto enters the sign of Aquarius. What does this mean?

  • Pluto, the planet of transformation, moves into Aquarius, the sign of collective progress and innovation. Aquarius is a fixed air sign interested in massive-scale connectivity to accomplish goals. Pluto will only stay in Aquarius until June, before dipping back into Capricorn and returning to Aquarius in early 2024. This ingress (meaning when a planet first moves into a sign) will be significant because we’ll start seeing the first sparks of technological change, global connectivity, and, hopefully, humanitarianism.

  • Pluto’s transits also act as generational markers. People born during the Pluto-in-Virgo transit are considered baby boomers, while those born during the Pluto-in-Libra transit are labeled Gen X. Millennials claim the Pluto-in-Scorpio transit, and Gen Z the Pluto-in-Sagittarius transit. Following this logic, we can expect a generation of fresh innovators to be born over the next 20 years or so.

On Saturday, March 25, Mars enters the sign of Cancer. What does this mean?

  • Mars, the planet of action, has been in the mutable, social, air sign of Gemini since August 2022. When it finally enters the nurturing, cardinal, water sign of Cancer (where it will stay until May 20), taking care of your employees will be top of mind. It’s a great time to take in the lessons served over the last seven months when Mars was in Gemini, and likely told you what people were chattering about. While Mars is in Cancer, it might be a good time to activate a new benefits program or offer 360 reviews.

On Thursday, April 6, we’ll have a Full Moon in Libra. What does this mean?

  • This Full Moon — when the Sun and moon are opposite each other in the sky — highlights an axis of Me energy (represented by Aries) vs. We energy (represented by Libra). This can be an exciting time to consider load rebalancing for you and your company. In this era of independent and remote working, utilize this time to illuminate and address the fractures and deepen the relationships within your teams.

On Wednesday, April 19, we’ll have a New Moon Total Solar Eclipse in Aries. What does this mean?

  • In a rare occurrence, we have two Aries moons this season. This New Moon is an eclipse, and is also the first in an Aries-Libra eclipse cycle. And to make matters even more interesting, it occurs in the last degree of Aries, which is a revolutionary degree pointing to strong impulses and pivotal feelings.

  • Eclipses have unpredictable energy, so observing any patterns is best while keeping knee-jerk reactions to a minimum. You could notice a “lawless” nature within your organization, an octave above the independence you may have worked through during the Full Moon. Keep in mind that this is temporary. But if they let me make the rules, I’d give everyone the day off.

Phew! Did you get all that? Enjoy the rollercoaster these next few weeks, and I’ll see you next month. If you have questions about how this works, or how it might affect you personally or professionally, connect with me!
