Justworks Raises Series A from Thrive and Index

I’m pleased to share some exciting news with you: we just closed $6 million in Series A funding. Thrive Capital led the round, and Index Ventures participated along with some of our existing angel and seed investors. We are fortunate to be backed by some of the best minds in the tech industry.

A Year of Growth

This investment represents what we’ve known for a long time: We serve a generation of entrepreneurs that need better tools and services to build and run their companies. The status quo is not good enough. In fact, our community has grown by 13x in 2014 alone, and today we’re privileged to serve over 2000 companies with employees and contractors in all 50 states and abroad.

It’s hard to believe that it’s only been a year since we launched and began providing payroll, benefits and HR services. What a trip!
